With the new influx of people the Board of Directors felt it was a good time to post a guideline for the application process to become a part of the ClanLAG Staff.
First the position requirements:
Ambassadors should be over 15 years of age and have a general knowledge of the game in which they are applying for.
Administrators should be over 18 years of age and have an extensive knowledge of the game and game related community.
Both should be ready to make a long term commitment to the clan as a whole, and their gaming community (Client) as well.
To get started you need to submit an Admin Application.
At the next Sunday meeting the Board of Directors will review the application, and if you (the applicant) are online, request a moment for an interview. After the interview the Board will vote on the applicant and then training will be turned over to the Director of Operations.
Training takes place on Teamspeak, the Clan Website (clanlag.org), and through a presentation. With the average time at about three (3) hours in length, distributed as:
- Presentation: 30mins-1hour
- SOP Self Study: 1 hours
- Examination: 30 mins (Ambassador)
OR
- Examination: 2 hours (Administrator)
For record the exams include multiple choice, short answer, and essay questions pertaining to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Clan Website, and Teamspeak.
When/If the applicant passes they enter the second phase of training. This can take up to a week, during which time the applicant will be working as an Admin or Ambassador with the current Staff and under the direction of their Admin Supervisor and/or Director of Operations.
